just to name a few. Our experienced staff continually advanced training specific to emergency practices and procedures to insure your pet gets the best care possible.

In addition to emergency services, we are able to provide intensive care for critically ill pets that have been referred by family veterinarians. Our clinicians are on staff 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including weekends and holidays, allowing us to monitor and provide continuous care.

In Case of Emergency

1

Stay calm, for your sake and your pet's sake. Animals can sense if you are upset and may become even more fearful, distressed, or aggressive.
1

If your primary care veterinarian cannot be contacted, when possible call ahead to the Northwest Veterinary Specialists emergency service at (503) 656-3999 so that we can prepare for your pet's arrival.

1

Be prepared with basic information - your pet's type/breed, age, the problem, time when the problem happened, and changes since then.
1

Limit your pet's activity; carry him to the car if possible.

1
Drive safely.
